7 DAYS: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE – SERENGETI (2 Nights) – NGORONGORO – MANYARA
DAY 1
Depart Arusha at 08.00 am for a 50 minutes’ drive to Arusha park gate. Here you will participate in a half day walking safari/Canoeing in the lake and a half day game drive. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk, who will guide you through the forest up to the waterfall and the point for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. During the game drive you will see the 7 Lakes of Momella and the Ngurduto Crater. At sunset, you will return to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight
DAY 2
Leave Arusha at 07.30 am, drive for about 1 hour to Tarangire national park. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”, you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons! Late afternoon drive to Mto Wa Mbu town for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 – 4
Early breakfast at 7.00 am. Pack and drive for Game drive enroute to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest-migration, herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in Seronera River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. Dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti! For 2 nights.
DAY 5
Another early morning game drive in Serengeti searching for Predators. In the afternoon you drive enroute to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight with an excellent view of the crater floor!
DAY 6
Early breakfast at 6:00 am then descend into the Crater 600mts for game drive. There is a very high possibility of spotting the big 5 in one day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard. Lunch will take place at the picnic site at the crater floor. In the afternoon, drive back to Lake Manyara for Dinner & Overnight
DAY 7
After an early breakfast you will drive to the bushmen village near Lake Eyasi [Hadzabe and Datoga] tribes, these two tribes live at the same area were by the Hadzabe hunts wild animals and search for wild fruits and roots for their daily meals while Datoga are making Black Smith materials, [spears, and Arrows etc..] were by the exchange with Hadzabe for their daily meals. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha for overnight or flight to Zanzibar. Please note that the Tanzania Experience safari ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 17.30 hours. Your departure can only take place today if you have pre-booked a domestic flight which leaves from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 19.40 hours or after, or an international flight which leaves at 21.00 hours or after. Otherwise, you will need to book an extra night’s accommodation (not included in the tour price unless you need to) and take a flight the following day.
